How to choose the right barbell for your training?

Olympic Training and Basic Barbells

One of our best-selling barbells are the Olympic Barbells. The 20kg Olympic Training Barbells have their balanced knurling. The knurling is nice for a firm grip, but not too sharp, making the barbell suitable for one-rep maxes and higher reps while training. These Olympic Training Barbells have no central knurling. This design prevents discomfort or scratching of the neck and shoulders when performing front rack cleans or other movements.


Our Olympic Barbells are divided into different lines: Training, Performance, Competition and Technique. Importantly, our competition and training bars are certified by the International Weightlifiting Federation, ensuring the highest quality and compliance with international standards.


The diameter of our training and basic bars is 28mm for the 20kg and 25mm for the 15kg bars. Moreover, the grip markers are conveniently spaced 91cm apart, making it easy to position your hands and lift the bar consistently. These bars have a PSI of 175,000, which means the breaking point of the barbell, expressed in (pounds/kilos per square inch).


Olympic Weightlifting Barbells

For weightlifters, we offer barbells specially designed for competition lifts such as squat, bench press, deadlift, clean and jerk. These barbells feature bushings with a special addition of graphite that enables self-lubrication, improving performance and longevity while maintaining controlled rotation.

The Olympic barbell has a diameter of 28mm, with 10 needle bearings and 2 copper bushings in each sleeve, ensuring a very smooth rotation. The extra coarse knurled surface pattern provides the perfect combination between grip and comfort, maintaining that vicelike feel, without the abrasive effect on your skin. This barbell has a tensile strength of a whopping 215,000 PSI and a maximum load capacity of 1134kg, suitable for serious weightlifting.

Olympic Kids/Junior Barbells

For our little athletes, we have the Olympic Kids/Junior Barbells in 2.5 or 10kg! This barbell is suitable for juniors and for technique training to make it easy to perform exercises. The Junior barbell has an overall length of 170cm and an inner size of 131cm. As a result, this barbell fits all rigs and racks. This Olympic Junior barbell is finished in hard chrome and has extra grip surfaces and rotating sleeves. With a tensile strength of as much as 190,000 PSI and a maximum load capacity of 453kg, this barbell is versatile and suitable for various purposes.
